Gov. Abbott (R-TX) has approved a request for the Rangers home opener at Globe Life to 100% capacity for that game. After the opener Texas will resume admitting a limited number of fans.

The Baltimore Orioles have announced that their 2021 season at Camden Yards will begin with fans being admitted up to a limit of 25% capacity.

An agreement with local DC government entities has resulted in the Washington Nationals being given the OK to begin their 2021 home season with admitting fans up to a limit of 5,000 per game.

A win for NYC MLB fans.
The embattled governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, has scored a win with Mets and Yankees fans by agreeing to allow both teams to resume admitting fans to home games in 2021, with a maximum of 20% capacity.

In an unprecedented event, Virginia Commonwealth University exited March Madness without playing a game. VCU had their game against Oregon declared a "no contest" due to multiple positive COVID19 tests among the players on the team. As a result, Oregon advances, and VCU is done for the season.

The relocation of 2021 Toronto Blue Jays home games to their spring training home in Dunedin FL, prompted by COVID19 protocol, has been extended to all home games in April and May.

Opening Day turned out to be a bummer for fans of both the Nationals and the Mets, as the game was postponed due to COVID19 protocols on the Nats. Friday is an off day, and the hope is that the two teams will play on Saturday; however, that's not a certainty at the moment.

The COVID19 issues that wiped out the Nats' opening series at home against the Mets has now also postgponed Monday's game in DC against the Braves.
