NHL studying jersey ads

Mark J. Burns of the Sports Business Journal has reported that the NHL is studying the possibility of adding ad logos to their game jerseys. Nothing has been made official yet, although Burns indicated that such a move wouldn't take effect any earlier than the 2022-23 season.
