Babe Ruth Baseball ( Laquer Ball)
Hi , I Just Got A Ruth Ball And It Has Laquer Allover The Ball Can Anyone Help Me With This Is It Too Save The Signuture , The Ball Is Very Dirty And Looks To Have Been Used ( Not A Pro Ball ) With Dirt Marks Allover If You Know Anything On This Please Help Me Out I Will Be Sending It To Get Looked At Soon Just Wonder If Its Worth The Trip Thks

Sounds like the ball was shellacked. That was commonly done because it was thought that it preserved the signature.

Vhris is correct but I don't know if removing it would be a good idea. Chances are if you take off the shallack you probably will end up causing more damage to the ball

Just Leave The Ball Alone.if You Take The Shellack Off The Signature Will Be Distroyed. Buy A Nice Cube And Enjoy The Ball
