GUU Forum Members Recognized By Editor of Sports Collectors Digest

Hello Everyone,

In case you haven't seen it, there was a very nice blog written recently by Chris Nerat (an associate editor for Sports Collectors Digest). In his blog he had some positive things to say about the participants on this forum. Among other things, here is an excerpt from the blog:

"The two forums I read most frequently are the Game Used Forums on gameuseduniverse.com and the Vintage Baseball Card Forum....the groups of people who make up these online communities are some of the most knowledgeable hobbyists out there. I can’t count how many times I have seen board members catch wind of a fraudulent item on eBay or a questionable item in an auction and pitch in their efforts to shut down the sale.

Thanks for the welcome. I think I was doing a google search for "royals game used" jerseys and one of the results was to a post on this site. The post had Howard Wolf on it and I had purchased some Beltran Royals jerseys before from him, so I browsed the threads. I recognized some of the member names from ebay auctions that I watch as well. Great idea for the site, it promotes research and a more informed hobby.
