Broncos question: '94 patch
Hey everyone
There's a John Elway 1994 Throwback jersey in the vintage authentics auction.
Here's a shot of the patch on the jersey- green on the end, light blue in the middle
Here's Elway wearing the Orange throwback. green on the end, dark blue in the middle. Is it different or is that an optical illusion?
Does anyone have any game pics showing the white throwback jerseys? Did they wear a different patch?

Re: Broncos question: '94 patch
I would assume that patch is good. I can see the HAY on the seven. Sometimes camera flash does strange things.

Re: Broncos question: '94 patch
I think it's the same patch, but just an optical illusion from the flash which makes the colors look different.
Jim Yackel wrote a column for scd a while back which points out there are two different 1994 NFL 75th anniversary patches. The style above was used in games, but there was also a retail patch which has years on it. I'll try to track down a photo of that retail patch
That patch with the years on it has been sewn onto jerseys to make bogus 1994 gamers.
Thanks for Jim for that info.
