Help needed- 85 Home Padres tag??

I need your help on something. Can anyone provide a photo of a 1985 home San Diego Padres year tag?

85 padres home jersey should be a wilson. wilson tag in the collar. tagging is the typical 80s, wilson strip tagging. just like wilson had on early-mid 80s yankees shirts.

here are 2 tags from 85 padres home jerseys:



uniform number - year. i believe the padres used "spare" style tagging as well to denote spare jerseys. if it was tagged as a spare, then i believe it'd only have the year and not the uniform number.

I had a feeling this was your concern.

I've had plenty of Phillies and Padres jerseys from 1985, and both teams incorporated the EXACT same type of tagging. When comparing my Phillies and other Padres I purchased from Hartel (who purchased hundreds directly from the Padres), this Nettles is completely different. I've never seen another Phillies or Padres with this type of "sloppy" embroidery as shown here on this Nettles. Considering Nettles was/is a pretty good name, it raises my concern about this. Personally, I don't like it at all and would not feel comfortable with it in my collection.

Let me know if you would like to see my Larry Andersen 1985 Phillies embroidery.

Eric that is the wrong size Nettles wore a size 42. Additionally I own a 85 Nettles that Howard Wolf looked at and liked. It's tags are identical to Rudy's.

additional issues:

the "RAK" font is wrong:



it's most pronounced in the "A". the ebay version has a sharp top, my exemplars have blunt tops.

i'm also not fond of the nob fonts and am not sure why the tag is in the tail instead of the collar.
