ABC batting helmets question...

Was there a certain year when ABC started putting the 3 little white dudes on the back of their helmets? Anything you can tell me about ABC helmets from the 70's would really be appreciated. Thanks,

i am not an expert but this is what i have figured out according to what i have. ABC introduced the logo sometime in the early 70's. now, helmets from this period (photo1) had the logo embossed or molded in during the manufacture process. the earliest helmet i have seen with this logo is a pirates from the 71-75 period. the oldest one i have is from 79.
this style lasted to sometime between 89 and 90 when they intoduced the sticker logo that was die cut like the one on your helmet. in the mid 90's, (photo2) they changed again to a square cut logo, which is easier to produce and more cost effective. i have a helmet from 98 with the square sticker. they also had (photo3) a one piece sticker that had the abc and mlb logos on it.
sometime between the late 90's and early 00's, ABC (photo4) changed the logo again to a cheap oval shape with a big A in the middle. and that is how it remained until rawlings bought them out in i believe 04. anyone else want to add more accurate info please feel free to do so as it will help me too.
regarding your helmet, rose last played in 86 when the helmet had the embossed logo. did you make the rose label for it or you bought it that way? i have a reds helmet from 92 and the name label was above the abc logo. anyway, here are some pics of the different logos over the years.

So, Momen, are you saying this Rose helmet would be from the 80s and not the 70s. LMK. I'm a little confused. Nothing was added to the helmet-all original as far as I know. Thanks,

the helmet is not from the 80's rather early to mid 90's. that logo sticker was not introduced until sometime in 89 to 90. rose last played in 86! i have a reds helmets from 92 with the same style sticker. can you email me pics of the helmet? inside and outside.

some questions are in place regarding a reds helmet used by rose in 74. the helmet being sold has the ABC logo on the back in sticker form. helmets in the 70's through late 80's had the logo embossed during the molding process. i am sure someone else out there has old helmets like this.
look at the pics in this post and see the different logos over the years. i have helmets from the 70's through the 80's and the logo is embossed. my oldest being from 79. someone else shed some light on this topic.

I have quite a few older Phillies helmets used through 1987. All have the logo embossed-no stickers.
