Interesting Item- Rare White Sox style
Hey everyone-
On ebay recently was a White Sox jersey of Steve Dillard who played for the White Sox in 1982.
According to a recent Dave Miedema column on mearsonline.com because of a dispute with the jersey manufacturer, the White Sox were forced to cannibalize old jerseys for their 1982 pre-season jerseys.
This shirt sold for $132.87 on ebay recently.

Without any comments on the jersey whatsoever, that's a hilarious LOA!
Lampson missed his true calling; comedian.
"Marvelous game use!". Don't get into specifics or anything Lou. "Marvelous" covers it perfectly. Whereas others say pilling on tail, back number puckering, pine tar stains under arm, Lou doesn't bother with all that detailed nonsense.
I like the exclamation mark he put on his own LOA when he noted "Lou Lampson LOA!". Even Lou Lampson is impressed with a Lou Lampson LOA!
In a year, what are his LOA's going to look like?
"Blue jersey. Number on back. Tags. Shows use!".
Rudy.

That is the same LOA that came with my "Baltimore" Orioles Marv Foley jersey! Same goofy typeface! Same little picture! Same inadequate description! Can you believe the White Sox would actually DO that to a jersey?!?
