2 questions about the Jackie Robinson Day equipment...

Question 1: What's going to happen to all the game-issued "42" jersey's from all the postponed games tonight?

Question 2: Are the helmets going to be sold off too? I noticed that all the helmets today have a Jackie Robinson Day sticker on the side. I'm guessing MLB Auctions might also sell those, but am not sure

I havent heard about the helmets, but last time with the Katrina stickers, the Cardinals just took the stickers off and continued using the helmets, or so I was told by the team.

I dont know if any of Griffey's jerseys will get out to the public.

Today in the Dayton Daily News he was quoted as saying that "he wore 6 jerseys during the game and will give one to Jackie's wife, he will keep one, auction one off for some golf charity and doesn't know what he will do with the remaining 3 jersey's at this time."

In the Atlanta paper today it said that Andruw Jones' special #42 jersey would be auctioned off at a later date. No other details were given.

I thought these jersey's were supposed to be unwashed? The Granderson jersey is clean, while the one he wore during the game was covered in dirt on the front
