Hrbek jersey in Grey Flannel (Lot #493)

Just wondering if anyone with experience with early 80s Twins jerseys could comment on this one http://www.greyflannelauctions.com/ (lot 493). Thanks for the help.

i'm not a twins expert by any stretch of the imagination.

however, to me, the wilson tag and the strip tag and the jersey style seem fine. there are no pictures of the back though so it's hard to come to a conclusion.

i'd be concerned about the use or lack thereof. hrbek played a full season in 1984. this was a time when players didn't go through 9 or 10 jerseys a season as many do now. i'd think an '84 jersey for a guy who played the full season should show some good use. i'd ask for close-up photos of the front to see if you can see any wear whatsoever on the "twins" script and the numbers. the wilson tag shows a small amount of wash wear. i'd also ask for photos of the back.

The tagging is consistent with my 1984 Twins jersey.

My one comment to add is Hrbek is a big guy. A size 46 pullover is not a big jersey. Check out his stats on the back of 1984 baseball card and see if his weight and height would allow him to wear a size 46.
