major league pine tar question????
Hello all-
I was curious if any of you knew the exact brand of pine tar used by most major league ball clubs? I am pretty sure it is not the franklin pine tar sticks or rags that can be purchased online. I have bought various types of cans of pine tar online, but it just does not seem to match up to the ones on my gamers. I was just curious as I play in a few wood bat leagues (keeping the dream alive) and enjoy a bit of tar on my bats I know this is a weird question for you all, but I appreciate the look and any help you can give. - Joe

Re: major league pine tar question????
Joe,
Most clubs use "Manny Mota Grip Sticks" this stuff is super tacky and some players after applying the mota stick to the bats, will dab on some pitchers rosin to make it less tacky.
