Removing glue from jerseys
All,
I have picked up the occasional odd jersey here & there to become a "project" at some later time.
This week's fun -- a Brevard Manatees road jersey I have had in my collection for nearly half a year. The Manatee mascot patch was removed by the team and relocated to a different spot on the jersey (literally inches away from the original spot), leaving a couple of large spots of thick dried hardened glue.
Does anyone out there know of something I could use to remove the glue without damaging the material on the jersey?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Removing glue from jerseys
I used Goof-Off to remove the residue that was left behind from some numbers. I applied it to a white cloth and just kept wiping it down. I tried not to go crazy with the Goof-Off and then washed the jersey (mesh) right after.
You won't want to use that stuff indoors.Greg
