bat rack characteristics and the like? I mean, is there a list that says for example that Shea Stadium's bat racks are painted blue or any photos? I think that this would be great info for us.

What about documented characteristics of a player's bat such as the way Thome tapes his bat knob? Anything like that been compiled?

I know a lot of my game used Reds bats from the 70's have RED bat rack streaks on them. In fact, almost of all of them. Unless the bat has no use they all have the red streaks.
