Tom-I got a Joe Morgan 1982 Orange home game used jersey with 25th anniverary patch, etc. From the Barry Halper/Lelands collection. Not looking to sell because I'm just getting it, but I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to sell

Hi Greg,

I have purchased a couple of shirts from Mike. Not a bad thought to get onto his wish list, should he ever want to part with something... Thanks for the suggestion. In corresponding with him in the past, I was under the impression items in his collection are not really for sale, but he does move an item every so often. Too bad the majority of the jerseys are not photographed... That is a collection I'd really like to see!

Of the 5 jerseys I was interested in-he was willing to sell 4 of them. He'll send ya pictures of them too. I've got mostly Jeff Kent jerseys from him-and then the 82 Morgan jersey. You never have to worry about the stuff you get from him-it's all legit.

Nice collection, Calgrad.I'm pretty sure the Williams Giants BP jersey is the same one that I called Sportswarehouse about a long while back, but it had sold a day or two before! (Timing is everything!)

Greg, did you get the Kent jerseys while he was still in SF? Those jerseys, JT Snow's, and Aurilia's were high on my "get list" but never seemed to materialize. Sounds like you have some nice shirts in your collection... Again, the Morgan jersey is very nice!

If anyone is interested in looking, here are pics of most of my jerseys... I add more pics as time allows. A few of them are consigned with Jim Yackel, otherwise they are not for sale.

I got the 3 kent jerseys right after he left SF. I got his 1998 away game jersey with giants coa; 2001 away all-star game used jersey from mlb.com; 1999 TBC Orange game jersey with Giants coa. I sold them all. I wish I would have kept at least one of them. They were great jerseys.

What a drag. I would have wanted to keep at least one as well. I have sold jerseys in the past and have dealt with the ensuing seller's remorse. I let a Bob Brenly Giants road jersey go a while back that I'd like to get back. Of course, another one will surface one day, but will probably cost much more than the one that got away. Tom

Yea, I know, I'm an idiot. The Giants 2001 All-star jersey was photo matched too. He used it the first half of the season and then in the all-star game and then was turned over to MLB. I also had the 1999 TBC orange jersey photo matched too. They only used it one game and I had a photo of him in it. IDIOT!

The Jeff Leonard jersey is awesome. I remember seeing one on ebay a couple years back and kicking myself for not buying it. Always liked him as a player.

Ironically, if it weren't for Jeffrey Leonard brokering a peace in the Giants clubhouse between Will Clark and the African American players, Will might have died 20 yrs. ago.

I guess there was also heat between Kevin Mitchell and Jeff Leonard. Mitch in 1987 hit 2HRs in a game and Jeff Leonard blew him off publicly in the dugout instead of congratulating him. However, after the game in the tunnel where no one could see him, Jeff Leonard said to Mitch privately, "nice game."


I went to mlb fanfest and got Will Clark's auto. People in line joked that Will Clark and Jeffrey Leonard would be at the table signing side by side.
