Question about Bronson Arroyo RedSox jersey??

I saw this Arroyo RedSox jersey on E-Bay. The tagging looks right but I thought it the tag was suppose to have a set number on the tag. Please take a look at this and tell me what you think.

I don't think so John...I have an Arroyo from 2005 that I purchased from Leland's.

Here it is! There is a little "46" tag under the "61 46 05" strip tag.

It seems to me the way the tags that are sewn onto the 05 Sportsworld jerseys are different from the way the tags are sewn onto 05 jersey that Mike has.

I purchased the first Arroyo jersey Leland's sold in an earlier auction. The second Arroyo jersey they sold in a later auction came with one of his bats. I'm assumimg this ebay jersey in question is that very jersey (minus the bat).

Here is that auction! I purchased my jersey in the summer of 2006. This auction was in the winter of 2006. They had a jersey that sold in a fall 2005 auction but it did not have the strip tag. The 2006 jerseys must be set 2 and set 3. It's my understanding the set 1 jerseys were not tagged. Rob Steinmetz is the guru on these questions though.

I do not understand why there would be a 2006 RedSox jersey for Arroyo?? Wasn't he traded to the Reds during the winter of 06 or early Spring of 06??

I thought that it was around that time when Boston traded Arroyo. I guess my question is when did the RedSox start marking thier uniforms with set numbers??

My bad... I said the 2006 jerseys when I meant the 2005 jerseys. These are all 2005 jerseys.
