Last year I got a bat from Lance Zawadski that was a George Kattorras bat. I couldn't figure out how he would have ended up with that bat so I asked Lance later in the Fall League season and he said they share the same agent and thats where he got it from.

Not necessarily the same but could be a way.

So far this season in AAA, I have seen this.

Mat Gamel was using Justin Sellers' Marucci.

Cody Ransom was using A-Rod's LVS

Collin DeLome using a German Duran LVS

Tim Redding using a Jamie Hoffman bat

J.D. Closser using Russ Mithcell's Trinity

That's a very possible reason. Now I just need to find out who their agents are Does anyone else have any possible scenarios?

Going back a few years (from 2001 I believe), I remember seeing Gary Sheffield using a Marquis Grissom bat. It had Sheff's signature tape style and was marked with his number.

lol actually the Braves have been more consistent with using their own bats this year. I just take so many photos that I see every bat that every player uses in every game so I catch a lot of guys who will switch bats for even 1 at-bat. With the Braves, this year it's just the players you usually don't hear about often that will share bats. Most of starting lineup is sticking with their own bats now.

theres an EVAN LONGORIA bat that might be hitting the market soon that has his name completly sheared off, the only way you know it was his is from the number 3 sticker on the knob, only problem is KELLY SHOPPACH was the one who was using it, NOT LONGO
