S/H Charges For Auction Houses
I just recently won an auction for a game used hat that ended yesterday. It's a well known auction company. They want to charge $34 for S/H. Is it me or does this seem a little high for this item? Please note that this does not include the hammer fee which I have no problem paying. I've won items before from other companies like Lelands and GFC and never had this type of problem. Thanks for your help and input.

Re: S/H Charges For Auction Houses
Did you contact the auction house directly, instead of relying on the emailed invoice?
I'm betting this is AmMem. I won a couple items in their last auction. I called, got Kieta, and she promptly told me it was a computer error. She knocked it down to a VERY reasonable shipping cost.

Re: S/H Charges For Auction Houses
Ken,
You are correct, it was American Memorabilia. I contacted them and expressed my concerns and they adjusted it to a much more fair fee. They were very helpful. Thanks for your help, Ken.
