pujols bat question
I have a lead on an 08 pujols marucci game used bat. the knob has the #5 stamped into it as well as all the batch info. However there is nothing written on the knob by pujols. Is this typical? I always assumed pujols wrote something on his knobs. At least thats what I gathered from jeffs website. Can anyone touch on this or have photos of other 08 game used maruccis? Any info would be helpful before I spend 2K on this bat. Thanks!!!

Re: pujols bat question
Pujols typically doesn't write on the knob of his Marucci bats because they already are stamped with his uniform number and the length/weight.

Re: pujols bat question
Hi,
I received a Marucci from Albert directly in 2008 and it has an asterix written in in black sharpie. I found some images that clearly show Albert using a bat with the same marking (http://uspresswire.com/image/2887766).
Hope this helps,
Anthony

Re: pujols bat question
Just to clarify, it's not unusual to see a dot or something on the knob, but there shouldn't be words or numbers written on his Marucci bats.
