TBTC Games.....
Does anybody know how to find out ahead of time when a team will be wearing throwbacks? I want to start recording TBTC games next year because I love buying throwback game used and ofcoarse I would like to photo/video-match it.

Re: TBTC Games.....
The easiest way is to check the promotion schedule for each team when they are released prior to the season. The TBTC games are usually listed.

Re: TBTC Games.....
Hello,
The best way to get info is to contact the people at Majestic through their website at www.majesticathletic.com . They gave me some great info to post on my site and always answered my questions in a timely manner. They won't have the TBTC schedule for next year just yet.
Here's the schedule they sent me earlier this year in regards to the TBTC games:
TEAMComm. YearEvent DatesRangers (Special Event)"Cinco De Mayo"5/5/2006Padres19485/6/2006Devil Rays19766/24/2006Braves19756/24/2006Blue JaysCanada Day Jeresy7/1/2006Padres19768/3/2006Astros19768/3/2006Mets19868/20/2006Giants19826/23/2006Athletics 19856/23/2006Mariners (Pilots)1969July 9thTigers1969July 9th
As you can see not a complete list and the Negro League games weren't on there but many of those games had ASI jerseys. Still, some great info there.
Good luck.

Re: TBTC Games.....
Forgot all about that Texas Rangers Cinco De Mayo game. Anyone remeber what the jersey looked like? There seemed to be quite a few Negro League throwback games this year. With each team playing in a road and home game. Teams I recall off hand playing in these games, Milwaukee, Washington, St. Louis, New York, Pittsburgh probally other's. The Nationals used the Gray's jersey and looked great. Would be nice to have a complete list of these games and what they looked like. I need to start saving these pics on my computer for reference. I also recall SF Giants in some throwback type game. Was it Gigantes or something like that and also some Negro league tribute game this past season. I really like these type of games. I know NHL is having some vintage games this season and NBA is always good for a couple throwback games.....

Re: TBTC Games.....
The San Francisco "Gigantes" played in 2005. I don't believe those were worn in 2006. I'll see if i can come up with a list for the Negro league games.
Anybody have a count on how many uni's the Padres wore this year? I think they had the most combinations this year. Another one with alot of unis were the Brewers with seven: Home, Away Grey, Alt. Blue, Sunday, Cerveceros, Home Bears (Negro), and Road Bears (grey).
Here's a pic of the "Los Rangers".

Indyred,
The Royals played the brewers as the Monarchs (I think). Here's a pic but I really don't have a front shot of KC's uni's.

Here are some more uniform photos to add to this discussion -- Milwaukee had 2 heritage days this season: 1 for African Americans & 1 for Latin Americans.
