Two things...

I noticed that some ebay auctions now have the 'Bidder 1', 'Bidder 2' format in bid history, and others don't. ebay states specifically "In certain cases, some bidders will no longer be able to view Bidder User IDs on the Bid History page." Do we have any idea under what circumstance this will occur and under what circumstance it won't? Is it random? Is it something the seller must set as a default? Any ideas?

Also, does anyone else have a problem with "so bad guys cannot target bidders with fake offers using this information."??? ebay starts their new disclaimer all professional, and they degrate to something from a Sci-Fi movie aimed at 12 year olds... Or is ebay now hiring kids out of high school to write their policy?
