Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
There was a Tampa - Baltimore throwback auction on MLB auctions... I thought it was ending on Sept 30th but is gone now
Does anyone know if I had the end date wrong? Or did they end it early?
ThanksBert

Re: Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
If you check the Tampa Bay Rays online auction page, all of the listings from the charity auction are there for both the Rays and Orioles, and you're correct, they end September 30th.

Re: Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
Out of curiosity, do the MLB auctions end similar to ebay with a flurry at the end or do bidders tend to put their bids in early?

Re: Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
When I'm less pissed off about the Rays' auction site jamming up just as I was signing on to bid, I'll post the final results. Jerseys (except for Koji, Wieters, Markakis) were cheaper than usual.
If anybody out there wound up with extras, let me know.Mark

Re: Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
I scored the Balfour cleats...he didn't play, but GU & AU was MLB authenticated, for $100 I couldn't pass it up!
I have searched for photos of the game but found none. Not that it would help me
Mark.

Re: Tampa Rays - Baltimore Orioles auction
I put some bids in on the g/u and signed batting helmets but didn't win any of them. Final prices on some were:
Matt Wieters - $310.00
Matt Wieters - $412.00
Adam Jones - $412.82
Nick Markakis - $429.98
