Dixon was a switch-hitting RHP who played in the majors for 4 years. He began with the Senators in 1953, and split 1954 between the Nats and the Pholadelphia A's. Dixon moved west with the A's to Kansas City in 1955, and then joined the Yankees for a 3-game cup of coffee to close his career in 1956.

Thanks to Tony Cocchi for alerting me to this obituary.
