In Asquith, Saskatchewan, about 25 miles outside Saskatoon, a signed Gordie Howe hockey sweater donated by the Howe family for charitable fundraising purposes was stolen from the hockey arena it was being displayed in. The jersey was to be raffled off to raise funds for youth hockey programs at the arena, which may be forced to shut down without the funds the jersey raffle would have brought. Collector friends to the north of the border, this is an alert.
