these cleats are advertised as being used by CC in game 1 of the 2009 world series. they are authenticated as "autographed cleats" on the date of that game, but getty images shows that he wore a different style cleats while pitching that game. there is no authentication provided stating that they were actually worn during that game. i sent an email to grey flannel notifying them of this and included the getty photos, and did not get a response. they were obviously used and CC inscribed them as such, but were clearly not used when he pitched during game 1.
