Another result of the Coronavirus scare

If you're an oldie but a goodie (like me), you'll remember an NFL kicker named Tom Dempsey. Now 73 and being treated for Alzheimer's and dementia. It was announced that he contracted COVID19 a few days ago. Fortunately he has apparently recovered

Dave Miedema.

Dave I recall this Saints kicker...held the record for longest FG made for many years...so glad he has recovered!

Sadly, the news of Dempsey's recovery was premature, as he succumbed to COVID19 this weekend.

Earlier this week, Euroleague...the top European BSKB league, considered by many to be second in quality in terms of pro hoops leagues to the NBA, has decided to cancel the remainder of their current season, and to host no playoffs.
