    05 Bears Jerseys ?

Did the 2005 Bears gamers use kiss cut style numbers?

Kiss-cut twill started in 2004 for the Bears.
I sent you an e-mail, Nil.

    Gentlemen:

I am not familiar with the terminology "kiss-cut numbers" and "kiss-cut twill". Please provide a description and post photos if possible.

    Thanks so much!

"Kiss-cutting" is the practice of making 2 to 3-layer twill numbers not as thick and cumbersome by simply making the "background" numbers as borders and not fully stacked layers of twill. I.E, Buccaneers home jersey numbers normally have 3-layer twill numbers: white on orange on black. Rather than have 3 stacked thickness' of twill they simply make the black and orange twill border the top white number.

Mark, don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I never heard that term either. It looks like something that Reebok may have went to in 06. I didn't look at all my 06 jerseys, just the one's that were displayed and easy. Attached are 06 jerseys of Tomlinson, Cadillac and Urlacher.
