Breast Cancer Awareness Games - October NFL
The NFL is working with the teams on Breast Cancer awareness. Each team in the month of October will done pink cleats, gloves, captain patches, wristbands, sideline gear, etc.
Most of this stuff will go to NFL Auctions, and the proceeds will go to breast cancer charities.
Does anyone know when this auction will be held?

Re: Breast Cancer Awareness Games - October NFL
They rarely announce the specific dates/times. I think that's because they're never sure exactly when the stuff is going to be readied and posted. Usually, though, it's within a couple of weeks after the games...sometimes even a bit sooner.
A little more info about the program:

Ocho and a few other players have been tweeting about this all week and a guy in the NFL offices responded to chads tweet by saying there will be no fines handed down to the players who wear pink accessories

Re: Breast Cancer Awareness Games - October NFL
Based on the account I read in USA Today, the players will be allowed to wear pink shoes and accessories for any Week 4 games. Ochocinco's comments were based on an assumption by him that the No Fun League would fine him if he wore them in Week 5, 6, etc. He plans to wear the pink shoes all of October, and the potential of fines after this week is what prompted him to make the donation offer in conjunction with the fines.

For anyone that cares, they began running the auction yesterday (Sunday, Oct. 4th) and will be running weekly auctions throughout the month. Items will be listed as they become available.
