Re: Clinton Pilots/Detroit Tigers Jersey
Over the years, I've seen a few of these floating around the hobby. The Wilson tag dates from the era of 1959-66, so it's pre-Tigers affiliation.

Re: Clinton Pilots/Detroit Tigers Jersey
This might be a 1965 White Sox jersey. The Clinton team was a White Sox franchise in 1965 (called the C-Sox) before switching over to the Pirates in 1966 as the Pilots. The jersey looks very much like the 1965 White Sox jerseys right down to the tagging. Maybe the franchise switch came late and they used the old shells with the new name.

Really appreciate all the info, everyone! Any ideas what a good price would be on it?

Re: Clinton Pilots/Detroit Tigers Jersey
Update - I have the jersey in hand...anything I should be looking for specifically to determine which team this might have been handed down from? The seller is pretty adamant that it's a Tigers jersey, but that just doesn't seem to be a possibility. I can't for the life of me make out what was on the jersey before the Pilots logo was stitched on. Thanks for any help!

Could it be SOX?

Re: Clinton Pilots/Detroit Tigers Jersey
If you look at the residue below the "TS" at the end of Pilots, it doesn't seem to match up with the Sox logo...also, the residue begins under the P...the mystery continues!
