Between you and maccamania, I've probably seen as many 1990 Red Sox jerseys with the original Tony Conigliaro armband intact in the last 72 hours than I've seen in the 20 years before that. Great, condition-scarce pickups for both of you.

Re: September pick-ups
Back on Monday of this week, Manny got his 3rd hit of the game against the Tigers.... a single to left off closer Jose Valverde that was bobbled allowing Manny to advance to 2nd base. He was later pinch run for and that runner scored the winning run. I looked up the all-time hits leaders after the days games were complete and the hit put Manny into 82nd on the list with hit #2562. Not exactly a milestone accomplishment, but I think it's pretty cool. This particular game also marked the 1st MLB win for White Sox pitcher Chris Sale and put Omar Vizquel atop the list of games played by a foreign born player!
MLB All-Time Hits Leaders (through 9/6/2010)
79) Reggie Jackson….. 2584
80) Ernie Banks……….. 2583
81) Richie Ashburn….. 2574
82) Manny Ramirez…. 2562
83) Willie Davis……… 2561
84T) Steve Finley……… 2548
84T) Johnny Damon…. 2548
