Can somebody watch the bottom of the 1st inning and confirm the following?
Does the ball hit for a single by Russell Martin, stay in play, and become the same ball that Andrew McCutchen fouls to the screen, on the first pitch? Thank you in advance.

I found the game on youtube , unfortunately I cant confirm this because they did not show the relay from right field. They panned on Martin , then Donovan Hand already had a ball . But, I am thinking the catcher threw it to him. Here it is ...

Unfortunately, the feed from MLB.TV is the same as the link provided, so there's no video showing who threw the ball to the pitcher. The camera shows the pitcher nod to someone presumably indicating he's ready for a ball, but it is very short and I can't tell if the background is a view of the stands behind the 1st base dugout or home plate. When the camera shows the umpire, catcher & pitcher, there is no ball thrown to the pitcher.
