well that sucks that it is no way that it could be his allstar bat for that year....that would be ba cool find....but id like to know if someone could tell me if indeed it is a 1986 bat cuase then that would make it his rookie year bat at least. Also im preet sure ill trade it or sell it just want to lear more about it first! thank you everone!

It's funny how everyone who replied on this site said the ink transfer did not look like an all star ball ink transfer, yet your description says it looks just like an all star ball ink transfer.

Looks like I sold you the black '96 Padres Rawlings. I forgot to tell you that I'm almost positive that this photo shows Wally using that bat.

The date of the pic matches the date from the Padres Store COA or within a day or two. I was also watching that game and remembere'd him breaking the bat and the Padres store getting the bat in the next day. It won't count as a true photo match but just an FYI.
