Re: Newbie here, what are good sites to search for images to photomatch?

    Welcome!

I'm definitely not a photo pro, but I rely heavily on Getty, Life and USPresswire!

Oh yea....Just an FYI, Steiner contacted me last night to let me know that they had Alabama and Notre Dame GU on their site.

    Re: Photo Matching Websites

Glad this thread was revived. I found a few more photomatch sites that I didn't have on the GU Resources page. Their are now 17 different photomatch sites listed.

    Photo Matching Question

Hi all, I just recently joined and really excited about everything I have been reading on here. I have been a collector for years, but only recently got into the game used aspect.

My question is regarding how to photo match. I recently purchased a game used 2008 world series hat and was wondering where some good outlets were to locate photos. I obviously have used Getty and wondering if best be is watching the actual games. The AP's site doesn't go back that far.

Any insight is appreciated and I apologize if I posted this in an incorrect form.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Great Info guys !!! In addition to the websites listed in the posted threads, I've been visiting the below website for the past few Months. They have been featuring our own Robert Harvell and the photo references are awesome - especially to those of us who collect vintage items.

    Best Photomatch Resources?

    Hi All,

I'm trying to Photomatch some older (2004) items with Getty Images, but because the players aren't so popular, it's hard to find photos.

Is there another good resource for MLB images? The MLB website only seems to have photos for this year...

    Thanks,
    Mark.

Photobucket.com is good for no names sometimes.
