Upon arriving in The Show in 1982, Ryne Sandberg's first order of LS bats feature a block letter name of SANDBURG.

One time Zack Greinke wore the wrong uniform with the Brewers. The Brewers were wearing their blue alternates with "Brewers" on the chest, but Greinke wore the next days specialty jersey that read "Bierbrauer". Both jerseys have the same font etc. So at first glance they look the same.
No one noticed it until he went into the game to put down a sac bunt. As most know starting pitchers usually throw on a fleece on days they don't pitch so there was no way for anyone to catch it prior to him running onto the field.
It was pretty funny and a unique occurance to say the least.

As the White Sox new manager in mid-1986, the late Jim Fregosi's initial set of jerseys had a NOB of FREGSOI.
