    ' Milestone Baseballs '

I was just wondering if anyone out there has any ' Milestone ' baseballs ? I have seen that some one here has Jose Canseco's 400th homerun ball and that type of ball is what I am talking about. I personally own the baseballs that were Dave Parker's 1,000th rbi, 1,00th rbi and the ball he hit for his 2,500th hit. Are there any others out there ?

    I meant his 1,300th rbi not 1,00th.

Talk about 'milestone' items. A few years ago Mastro auctioned the watch Knute Rockne was wearing when he died in a plane crash. The watch stopped at impact, so the time was the moment of impact.

That would be very eerie owning something like the watch someone was wearing when they died . I did not know he died in a plane crash.

I went to Graceland in Memphis 2 weeks ago and couldn't walk away from Elvis' gravesite for a while. Definately a trip back into time (going there), and worth the trip .

The whole day after , his songs were going off in my mind that I did NOT hear that day while at Graceland . Plus I felt "weird" for hours after leaving there. Very strange but glad we went to visit .....

I have Johnny Bench's 249th career homerun ball. He hit it on July 3,1976 in Riverfront off of Joe Niekro of the Astros. Got it directly from BallHawk Dave (very famous in Wrigley) who got it from the Riverfront LF security guard. It's pretty sweet.

not exactly a milestone ball but i thought it was a pretty cool baseball i picked up.

a Game Used Baseball Autographed by AROD from 2004

What makes this ball cool to me because it was used during
Arods 45th home run of the season
Sheffield hit his 10th grand slam
and Bubba Crosby ran over the first basemans arm and broke it

I do have Jose Canseco's 400th career homerun baseball and I also have the bat he hit it with. Since I don't know how to post pics on this forum. you can see the ball in the pic beside my sign in name. You can see the bat at PSA/DNA website under the certification #D62731. They are both amazing and I got them both from Jose himself. The coolest thing about it all is he hit it on my 20th Birthday and I was watching it live on TV. Easily one of the best B-day presents ever. I talked with John Taube about it and he was very impressed by it. It is not signed since Jose wasn't going to sell it but I eventually talked him into it after I told him the connection I had with it. I would like to see a poll of members who have the ball and bat from milestone homeruns. I'll bet that is pretty rare. The bat was graded a GU10. Very rarely does a bat grade a GU10, but I had so much proof and photos of him hitting it, he really had no choice. I do want to let people know how nice and professional John Taube is. A very nice man. Lets hear from more people about this.

    Thanks, Todd Ricks
