Questionable Eric Owens World Series bat
Seller states that the bat was used in the 2002 World Series. I thought that all Lousville Slugger bats used in the world series have "WORLD SERIES" engraved underneath the name? I'm currently waiting for a response from the seller.

Re: Questionable Eric Owens World Series bat
Well his years are wrong because the Marlins werent in the World Series in 2002. 2002 was the Giants and Angels. They were there in 2003 when they beat the Yankees.

Re: Questionable Eric Owens World Series bat
To the best of my knowledge Louisville Slugger does issue bats that are engraved WORLD SERIES for the players, but tis up to the players discretion if he wants to use those bats.

Re: Questionable Eric Owens World Series bat
One thing which may demonstrate game used on a regular season bat is the color of the ball marks. The 2003 WS balls had gold stamping on them therefore the presence of gold ball marks may prove that the bat was used in the WS in 2003.
I would ask the seller about the ball marks if any on this bat.
