Primer for Schutt Facemasks?

Hey, would any of you guys know the date codes for Schutt facemasks? I just picked up a helmet and I am trying to figure out what year the mask was made. The code on the facemask is "DIG". Any ideas?

My next call is to Riddell is see it I can date the helmet shell and pads. The serial and/or model number of the pads is 87634. The code on the shell of the helmet is 41133REG and below one of the ear holes is a tiny series of numbers - 096059.
