Mark Messier?

Just out of curiosity I was wondering how much a Mark Messier game used hockey stick would be worth. My friend came to me knowing I am a collector of game used items and asked how much he could get for the stick. Not sure if it has any authentification, but I do know its from the 1994 season. I told him probably around 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. I have no experience with hockey items so anyone that does please help me out.
