    Thanks,

Huh... I was offered a McCutchen bat for a Butler bat and I passed... Maybe I should have thought a little more about taking it.

Looks like two guys both decided they really wanted a McCutchen NOW, so they're in a bidding war. I sold a nice burgundy Marucci McCutchen for about $200 last year on ebay...and I thought I did well.

Ya... this auction is odd to me as well. I've seen beautifully beaten and signed bats by mccutchen go for 2-300. I have no idea what is up with this one. Maybe it is rare and we're all dumb for not knowing any better... someone should ask bmh about the bat order. Maybe we could all learn something.

Almost 4 bills? That guy is overpaying. I would be happy selling mine at the $175 mark.

Something is fishy about the bidder that has 406 feedback. Either that or he is a moron. There have been several bat auctions recently where he has ran up the price of the bat within the first 24 to 48 hours of the auction. Even stranger is the fact that it was a bidding war between that guy and the guy with 4390 feedback. The guy with 4390 feedback has bid on almost every single bat I have saved in eBay including every one by the seller except the Hairston Jr.

can you give us auction links as examples? they are not with the same seller as this bat. I see only him bidding high on only the seller's two most expensive bats.

Sometimes, somebody just wants a bat or bats. I don't see anything fishy about it.

Here is one of the other examples. He bid a bunch early and then stopped bidding at the end. There was another bat he did it with and won because there were no late bids to outbid him. It might not necessarily be fishy, but I don't see a lot of reason in running up a 5 day auction on day one. The bat he won has no feedback left for the seller
