BMH - Dale Murphy Bat Records Question

    Hey BMH,

I have a question on your shipping records. I have a Dale Murphy B310C 34.5" 32 oz. bat from the 1980-1983 label period. I searched GUU for shipping info and also have spoken to Mike Specht & Jim Caravello via email. All of their records only go through 1981 and I'm trying to locate shipping records from 1981-1983. I was wondering if you had these shipping records available?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

    BMH,

I take it from the no reponse that there are no shipping records available for Dale Murphy after the 1981 season? Any help would be appreciated.

BMH, was this his model of choice?

I have a Jeff Burroughs that is the same model. Was the B-310 made for Jeff?

    Thank you sir!

Re: BMH - Dale Murphy Bat Records Question

I was fortunate enough to spend a Saturday with Murph and a few other Braves players at an '82 Braves reunion back in September. We went to the old Fulton Co. Stadium site, and Murph told us the history of his 1982 All-Star LVS bat.

He said that players would try bats of the team's best hitters, and Jeff Burroughs was a good hitter on the first Braves teams Murph was a part of. The B310 was the model that Jeff Burroughs used.
