Ken Griffey Jr. Game Worn Jersey Price Check

I'm about to get hired for this new store coming in down the street from me and I knew that the second I first get a job, I wanted to save for something big for my collection. That "big" thing is a Ken Griffey Jr. game worn jersey. I'm not sure how much I should be saving up to get one though so I hoping someone else could help. I'm looking to get a home vest, from the more recent years(2003-2006), and one that shows good game use and proper authentication. With the specifics of what I'm looking for, how much would something like that cost?

You are looking at paying anywhere from $500 to about $1,500 for one.
Look for the Property of the Cincinnati Reds Tag that is the biggest give away of a game used reds jerseys from the past few years.
I have a jersey from 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 so i know the different taggings.

Best wishes on saving for the Griffey, as that would be a great pickup. I think it would have taken me a long time to save $1000 when I was making minimum wage at my first job!
