This forum has discussed Phillies Pete Rose warm up jackets at length, over the past year. American Memorabilia has a real gem available in their current auction!
![]() NOB with "arched lettering"... The most convincing photo-match that I have seen in a AMI auction! ![]() I think the "WORLD CHAMPIONS" patch is cool. Would opposing teams look at this as arogance? Don't most pro sports have rules against "taunting"? I have a 1968-69 Minnesota Pipers warm up with a chain-stitched team promotion right on front: ![]() Also for the same team (Pittsburgh/Minnesota), Connie Hawkins wore this Warm-up advertising his MVP award and All-ABA status. This was the team's idea, so it is hard to classify it as "self-gloss": ![]() ![]() Do any collectors know of examples like this? |

I believe the Chicago White Sox will be wearing jerseys marked "World Champions" this up-and-coming season.
Oh wait, arm patches doesn't count, do they? They should wear such jerseys when they play The Cubs, it would be great for sales of a short term issued jersey.
