Varitek Undershirt - MLB Auth Error?

Currently on ebay is a Varitek undershirt listed as MLB and Steiner authenticated. When I check the MLB hologram it comes up as a varitek locker room tag. Also, the accompanying steiner letter makes no mention of the fact the jersey is autographed and it describes the jersey as short sleeved when it is actually long sleeved in the auction photos. The Steiner holo is in the collar while the MLB holo is in the tagging area at the bottom. I know there have been issues with authenticating, but has anyone seen these types of anomalies before?
