What is the proper description of the end of a bat that is not cupped? Rounded end?
What is the proper description for the date on the knob 6/29/2010 and how do you describe it? Meaning, is this the date the bat was turned, made, processed, etc. Thanks in advance!

Uncupped or rounded
Manufacture date (I've seen it called "birth date" too) |

In the 1920's -- 1940's, the player's individual toolroom chart would describe the barrel end as "rounded," "1/2 rounded," "slightly rounded," "square," "square slightly rounded," etc.
