Brian,
I have a 2012 LVS M9 stamped 03/26/12 on the knob. In the middle of the knob below the date is stamped "VM." Below the weight/length is stamped "LDM." What does VM and LDM stand for? Thanks in advance! |

From a previous response by Brian:
VM= veneer maple. A way for the player to identify the type of maple he is receiving from us. A= Amish Maple (VM is also Amish, just graded higher) AA= Amish Ash. LDM= Low Density Maple. Markings we are required to put on the bats by MLB to identify a Maple bat that takes a < 85.6oz billet. __________________ Brian Hillerich Mike jackitout7@aol.com |
