Cool Rivera bat. Were you able to purchase it direct from LSV? Does anyone know if they will make up Mother's Day bats on request from the general public?

Interesting bat... I was also interested in this purchasing this bat as I am a big Rivera collector as well, but quickly changed my mind after realizing it was not mlb authenticated. The fact the Yankees were playing an American league team along with Mo being done for the season due to his injury, this bat had zero chance of being used or even making it to his locker. I don't understand how it was being sold as game issued, at best it's a 1 of 1 bat from 2012. My best guess this bat came directly from Louisville slugger and went directly to market for sale. With all that said, nice pickup... its a cool bat!

My Mitch Moreland bat and batting gloves came this week. Loving this bat. Shows a lot of use! He had a couple of hits in this game. The only question is that the date stamped is 2011. Is that normal?

That is a odd bat! The 2012's were dark pink this year, all previous years have been the light pink like your bat, Maybe it was a leftover from lastyear and with all the problems lvs had at their factory they sentout lastyears model!

There were a few left over 2011 pink bats being auctioned at the same time! Did you look up the mlb authentication?

The hologram is EK 035657. It is said to be used in this year's game. I even photomatched it to his AB in the 4th inning. Moreland didn't get an AB on Mother's Day 2011. Maybe he just kept it from year before.

After watching his AB's from that game, looks like he used it for all 5 of his trips to the plate going 2-5.
