Default Albert Pujols I13 bats

Brian,

Did Albert Pujols order/receive any I13 M9 bats after 2003 for game use? I have Albert's records through 5/24/05 and the only order I see is for 8 bats (5/6/04, 34", 0.0 oz) with Chuck as the customer. I assume these are promo bats, given the noted weight. Other than that, Albert was shipped I13L (large knob) bats in 2004 and through 5/24/05. Were there shipments of regular I13 bats for game use after that date? Thanks.

You are right, those eight bats were for an Auction Pujols had promised to donate some autograph bats. He didn't order I13's after that date. No other I13's were shipped after that point. I see a few orders for M356's and one for the P147 but that's it.

Thanks for the reply, Brian. So, I guess the facts would cast suspicion on any I13 bat with the M9 sticker, including this bat: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180327941517

Really, there could be only two options, then -- either Albert used a bat that was made for him to autograph and donate... or somebody did a decent job of taking a signed bat and making it look like a gamer.

I've sent an e-mail to the eBay seller with a link to this thread so he/she can be aware of the situation.
