It's a copy of an authentic signature which has been "printed" on a baseball. In other words, it's a fake/forgery of a real signature.

I saw this at Net 54, but I don't recall the image being that large there.

On this large image it is obvious that another signature has been removed from the ball. You can most clearly see the remnants of it behind the "Ru"

Looking below the seam you can also see scattered black in the pores that does not look like typical dirt or soiling. More like ink. This would also indicate to me signatures were washed off.

That in and of itself should be enough of a red flag to stay away. Apparently Mr. Ted Taylor (TTA) was not able to see this seemingly obvious issue.
