The R on metal bats means the bat is a replacement under warranty. (B means blemished, P means promotional or team sponsored, U means used and returned to Louisville). I am not sure if this applies to wood or pro model bats.

9H stands for the hardness level (9 is the max)

On the Underside of the Barrel
what does "9H" mean
as well as the 4 Symbols:
-A Star with a V in the middle
-2 circles with a C in the middle
-Black box with an A inside
-Circle with A and S on the outside and an F in the Middle
