Check out the body of the "i" in Twins. It's attached upside down. If authentic, it would be easy to photomatch.

One other big difference is the spacing between the nameplate and jersey numbers. The game photos show the jersey numbers sewn much lower below the nameplate

ESM - 2004 Johan Santana jersey

ESM is currently selling a 2004 Johan Santana game-used jersey here:

the jersey shows some decent wash-wear on the tagging. i'm no twins expert so i have some questions for those who are.

    1. i've tried to locate a single photo of the twins ever wearing a red nob as shown on the ESM jersey and have been unsuccessful. the only photos i've found show the twins wearing a blue nob on their 2004 home jerseys. additionally, i can't find any evidence of them ever wearing a red nob as seen in the ESM jersey. does anyone have any insight as to when they wore a red nob?

    2. eloise pohlad, wife of twins owner carl, passed away in nov 2003. for the entire 2004 season the twins wore an eloise patch memorial. the ESM jersey does not have the eloise patch. can someone please tell me if they played any games in 2004 in which they didn't wear the eloise patch?

clearly the jersey shows wear so it must've been worn in 2004. i'm just trying to figure out when in the 2004 season (or any season) they wore red nobs and no eloise patch.

    thanks,

    rudy.
