Suave,
There are a lot of people on here that do not have to comment on every, little, thing, posted.
Just because someone may have registered on this site before another, does not give that person special privileges or knowledge.
As for your statement below, please do a reality check.

Both teams I can always count on you.
Well I went by his junior status, you would think in that amount of time he would have posted on the forum more.
Funny though for someone in 3 years who hasnt made it passed Jr status comes on to slam me lol lolLeave a comment:

I don't think your post hurt anyone's business. However, dude was a member 2 months before you. I'm not saying...I'm just saying.

Re: Some wacky sports memorabilia prices out there...
I see where I made the mistake so I will apologize as far as relating it to 2005 and was a simple error that anyone could have made.
I don't think im ruining a companies reputation by citing a year!!!Leave a comment:

Re: Some wacky sports memorabilia prices out there...
Sometimes we come across a item that might be priced a little too high. Sometimes we don't. Here are a few for your reading enjoyment and/or morbid curiosity...
1. Mickey Mantle signed retail jersey. Limited to only 536. Guess this is considered to be rare?
2. LeBron James signed basketball from rookie challenge game. Seller states that it is worth every penny and guaranteed to only go up. Surprisingly, the best offer feature is enabled.
3. David Wright game used helmet. Check out the buy-it-now price for this baby...
4. Randy Johnson game used rookie jersey. Ok, I posted this one before, but I believe the seller has reduced his price by $1,000 since the original post. I guess you can say it's now on sale?
5. Nolan Ryan game used uniform. No best offer on this one! $25K firm.
6. Current style David Ortiz game used jersey (signed) for $16K. We all know how scarce these are!! As an extra incentive, the seller is prepared to throw in the shipping!
And finally, a Rickey Henderson game used bat from the 1986 World Series. Course, he was on the Yankees in 1986, but that shouldn't detract from the absolute bargain price of $5K:

Nick,
That Rickey bat may be from the 89 WS, (A's vs Giants), the Battle of the Bay. That year HB printed the large LOUISVILLE on the back of the bats for the All Star game and the post season. Rickey was with the A's the last half of 1989.

Suave,
You should get your facts straight before making a post which could harm a companies reputation. The internet auction took place in Jan. 2005, please show me where in the description it states this helmet was used in 2005.

Re: Some wacky sports memorabilia prices out there...
Skip here is what is funny.
PMI is Becketts memorabilia agent. I saw them not too long ago on the Boston Show and they had all of Becketts stuff there including this helmet.
Whats funny is that from the original auction it is stated to be from 2005.
In the ebay PMI auction it is now stated to be a rookie game used helmet which would be considered to be 2001 / 2002Leave a comment:

Re: Some wacky sports memorabilia prices out there...
This one's been an ebay fixture for a couple years and I can't figure out why.Does anyone know if Beckett actually pitched in one those TBTC games?
Orginally purchased for $72.90 from Lelands ...
Now signed and available for the low price of $725 (plus $10 shipping) ...
